Programme Evaluation

We conduct cutting edge user and learning-focused programme evaluations which focus attention on what works (and what doesn’t) and WHY.

We undertake evaluations of institutions, policies and programmes and partnerships. We use a Theory of Change approach and work with the concept of a results chain for wider sectoral initiatives, public expenditure management and policy development.

Our aim is to improve the use of evaluation results and recomendations through better learning and accountability. Through our humanitarian aid evaluations, we help international organizations and governments understand how their programmes contribute (or not) to improving the lives of people.

Our approach combines rigorous desk and field research, with multi-disciplinary methods to identify strengths and areas for improvement. We provide forward-looking and practical recommendations to maximize the effectiveness of aid efforts.
